This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented Barista to join our Canon team that supports our premier client, One New Zealand. You’ll be working at the onsite café in the dynamic corporate offices on Auckland’s North Shore.

 

We are looking for someone who is passionate about coffee, food and delivering best in class customer experience! 

 

This is a full-time 6-month Fixed Term contract, Monday to Friday - 7.15 am to 3.45 pm

 

 

Main Duties include:

 

  • Making exceptional coffee of course!
  • Providing best in class customer service
  • Taking customer orders and upselling products
  • Basic food preparation and serving
  • Customer payment transactions
  • Assistance with Corporate events as and if required
  • Ensuring the cleanliness of the café and Atrium area
  • Adhering to both Canon Business Services and ONE NZ Health & Safety Standards

 

 

Key skills and experience:

 

  • Excellent Customer Service
  • Barista/café assistant training and experience in a fast-paced café/bar environment
  • Food service and preparation
  • Passionate about creating excellent coffee
  • National Certificate in Food and Beverage Service or equivalent
  • Understanding of food hygiene practice requirements
  • You can work well in a diverse, high energy team environment as well as autonomously
  • A positive attitude and a flexible and adaptable nature
