  • 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, flexible between the hours of 7am and 10pm

 

 

About the Role

 

Based on our client’s amazing corporate premises in in Central Auckland, we are seeking a Hospitality champion for our Senior Service Delivery Host role. This is a key role in our team, which will support all functions across our hospitality service.

 

The role is part of our workplace and client services team and comes with fantastic flexible rostered hours so you can balance your work-life schedule.

 

 

Main Duties:

 

  • Meet and greet guests and clients in a professional manner
  • Responsible for all catering requests & reservation allocations
  • Direct the onsite team for all event set ups, catering deliveries and service requirements
  • Lead liaison with our kitchen staff to ensure delivery and standards are met
  • Proactively engage with the customer and wider business to ensure ongoing service excellence
  • Food and beverage delivery, such as barista services, catering set up, clearing, sit-down dining service, bar service and refreshment offerings
  • Working flexibly across the client’s hospitality offering, including Reservations, Reception, Events and Catering (this includes operational support in Auckland central and Sylvia Park as required)
  • Provide catering, event and service knowledge and experience to customers and wider team

 

 

About you

 

We are looking for a Hospitality focused individual who values delivering a fantastic service and excels in providing an exceptional level of customer service. You will confidently demonstrate:

 

  • A passion for customer service and how to deliver a service with a customer first approach to everything you do.
  • The ability to lead, support, and provide guidance to the wider team.
  • Catering & Events service knowledge and experience to customers and wider team.
  • The ability to work efficiently and independently.
  • The flexibility to work rostered hours as per the business requirements
  • Confidence to manage to manage teams to deliver events and excellent service
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Hospitality Service Environment
  • High standard of personal presentation
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
