About the Role

  • The role is based in our client site in Auckland
  • The role is a permanent position
  • The working hours are 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 5:00am – 1:30 pm

This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join our team, assisting our onsite Catering service at our Client’s dynamic corporate offices on Takapuna, North Shore. 

The role will be responsible for assisting in our commercial kitchen, driving Health and Safety, and designing, costing and preparing food offerings for our two onsite cafes and event catering. This represents a great chance to apply your skills within a corporate environment in a ‘Monday to Friday’ Corporate hours operation.

You will be passionate about food and delivering great customer experiences. 

Main Duties

  • Assist with Menu planning, food service and production at our clients Corporate Head Office
  • Preparation of Café, and Event menu’s
  • Understand & complete reporting requirement for food hygiene compliance within the commercial kitchen.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the commercial kitchen
  • Maintain accurate Stock control
  • Menu innovation & compilation
  • Client service

Key Requirements

  • Experience in in Corporate catering.
  • 5 years’ experience as a Chef
  • Tertiary qualified
  • Team player
  • Proactive
  • Adaptable
