About the Role | Mō te Tūranga

We have an opportunity for an experienced Talent Acquisition Partner to join our wider Oceania Talent Acquisition team, supporting hiring managers across Australia and New Zealand.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition & Diversity, this is a true end-to-end recruitment partnering role where you will work closely with leaders across the business to attract, hire and onboard high-quality talent.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, autonomy and influence, balancing hands-on recruitment delivery with strategic workforce planning, stakeholder coaching and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities include:

 

  • Delivering end-to-end recruitment across a diverse portfolio of corporate, technical and sales roles in Australia and New Zealand
  • Partnering with leaders to take high-quality briefs, understand business priorities and agree sourcing strategies
  • Building and executing proactive sourcing and talent pipelining strategies to reduce agency reliance
  • Providing consultative advice on selection, interviewing and evaluation techniques
  • Managing candidate experience from sourcing through to offer and onboarding
  • Ensuring compliance with Canon Group Talent Acquisition and Employment Screening policies
  • Managing recruitment activity and data integrity within SAP SuccessFactors
  • Supporting workforce planning and talent pooling in collaboration with HR Business Partners
  • Coaching and uplifting hiring manager capability in best-practice recruitment and interviewing
  • Contributing to recruitment projects and continuous improvement initiatives across the TA function
  • This role offers genuine flexibility, with a hybrid working model and the option of part-time (4 days per week) or full-time employment.

 

About You | Mōu

You are an experienced and confident Talent Acquisition professional who enjoys working as a trusted partner to the business. You are equally comfortable delivering hands-on recruitment as you are influencing leaders, challenging thinking and improving outcomes.

You bring strong commercial acumen, a passion for candidate experience and a continuous improvement mindset.

You will bring:

 

  • Over 5 years experience in internal or RPO Talent Acquisition roles
  • Proven ability to manage end-to-end recruitment across a broad role portfolio
  • Strong proactive sourcing and talent pipelining capability
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management and consulting skills
  • Experience advising leaders on recruitment best practice and selection decisions
  • High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with modern recruitment systems, ideally SAP SuccessFactors
  • Knowledge of the Australian and/or New Zealand employment market (NZ experience preferred)
  • A collaborative, values-led approach aligned to Canon’s culture
  • Experience recruiting technical, IT, sales or corporate roles will be highly regarded.
