About the Role
As a Professional Services Consultant, you will work closely with customers to design, implement and optimise business solutions that deliver measurable outcomes. Combining consulting expertise with strong technical skills, you'll lead solution deployments, conduct workshops, provide technical guidance and support customers through their digital transformation journey.
This role offers variety and impact, spanning solution consulting, business analysis, project delivery and customer engagement. You'll collaborate with Sales, Technical Services and customer stakeholders to ensure solutions are successfully delivered and aligned to business requirements.
Scope of the Role
- Delivering implementation services for Canon and partner solutions
- Facilitating customer workshops, solution scoping and requirements gathering
- Providing technical expertise throughout the sales and solution delivery lifecycle
- Conducting solution demonstrations, training and user enablement activities
- Managing customer projects and ensuring successful implementation outcomes
- Developing functional specifications and analysing customer business processes
- Identifying opportunities to enhance existing customer environments and solutions
About You
You operate as a trusted advisor to customers and internal stakeholders, who will combine technical expertise, consulting capability and a strong customer focus to deliver successful business outcomes. You enjoy solving complex problems, building relationships and driving projects through to completion. Key skills and experience include:
- Demonstrated experience in IT consulting, systems integration, professional services or solution delivery environments.
- Knowledge of document management, workflow, imaging or business process automation solutions.
- Strong understanding of business analysis, solution design and implementation methodologies.
- Experience engaging with customers and stakeholders across both business and technical environments.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities and deadlines while maintaining high standards of delivery.
- Strong presentation, communication and relationship-building skills.
- Experience within the document management, information management or print industry will be highly regarded.
Desirable Technical Experience:
- Experience with SQL Server or other relational database platforms, including query development, stored procedures and database design
- Development experience using JavaScript, C# and .NET technologies
- Experience developing and supporting RESTful APIs and application integrations
- Understanding of object-oriented programming principles, coding standards and code review practices
- Experience configuring business rules, workflows and integrations within Document Management Systems (DMS)
- Exposure to application development and customisation supporting enterprise business solutions
