About the Role

Our Business Sales team generate new revenue streams and attract new customers through Canon’s core business and solutions streams.  Placing the customer and their needs first, we build partnerships and programs to deliver measurable outcomes for our customers and our business partners. As the Lead Generation Team Leader you will play a key role in growing our business as you generate leads and potential clients through telephone calls to existing and new customers. You’ll get the opportunity to build your team from the ground up as you lead this newly established in-house function.

Scope of the role includes:

  • Generating leads and potential clients through telephone
  • Plan and effectively implement campaigns for sales team
  • Establish and actively maintain the database of customer and product information
  • Report on the results of past campaigns and make recommendation to improve any future campaigns
  • Identify sales opportunities from both new and existing customers
  • Keep accurate records of sales activities
  • Answer telephone calls and queries from customers
  • Cold calling new customers when required

 

About you

As someone with previous experience in telephone sales you bring knowledge and experience in campaign planning to the role. You have great attention to detail, and you know how to manage a database to gather market intelligence and follow up on potential leads. You have a proven track record in sales coupled with an excellent telephone manner. Ideally you have knowledge of Canon’s products and services but more important is your drive, self motivation and tenacity.
