About the Role

  • Full time position located in Canberra
  • Great Working and Team Environment
  • Application Support Role (.NET) with strong SQL scripting skills

 

You must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident at the time of submitting your applications to be considered for this role.

 

Australian Federal Police and Baseline security Clearance required; successful candidates will be required to get these clearances.

 

You will be an IT professional working as part of the Customer Support & Delivery team in a busy and dynamic environment.
This position will focus on supporting Canon Business Services’ client and in-house applications. A wide ranging & varied role, encompassing application support, SQL reporting, system monitoring, troubleshooting and problem solving.

 

Key Requirements

  • Minimum of 1.5 to 2 years of work experience in a similar role
  • MS SQL Server (Advanced SQL scripting knowledge)
  • VB 6.0 and .NET application development/support
  • Customer support and management skills.
  • Understand logic and trouble shoot custom built applications (SQL and .NET)
  • Commercial experience, in an application/operation support role
  • Highly self-motivated and mature professional
  • Able to prioritize work effectively and work unsupervised
  • Demonstrable track record in problem solving
  • Quick learner
  • Adaptable, flexible personality with ability to engage in new responsibilities
  • Identify issues/problems and provide lateral thinking to find resolutions
  • Professional and clear communication skills
  • Exposure to scanner hardware and imaging is desirable
  • Tertiary IT qualification in Programming is desirable
  • Documentum knowledge and experience are desirable
  • Document capture and imaging experience (EMC Dispatcher and/or ReadSoft) is desirable
