Join our Digital Services team on a fixed-term contract until 30 October 2026 as a Digital Services Operator (Document Scanning), where you'll play a vital role in converting customer data into a digital format while adhering to client requirements and company policies.

 

 

About the Role |  Mō te Tūranga

 

Based in our central Christchurch Technology Centre, your responsibilities will include completing tasks on time, assisting with document processing, and ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our production processes. You'll also interact professionally with clients and handle administrative duties as needed, along with: 

 

  • Assist with document receipt, sorting, preparation and scanning
  • Keeping familiarity with client expectations as outlined in Work Instructions
  • Assist in keying QA process, data conversion, extraction and transfer and document storage, destruction and retrieval
  • Understanding of capture work queues and Canon systems
  • Maintaining knowledge of the front-end process in MAP
  • Accurate completion of timesheets and task sheets
  • Maintain minimum keying speeds

Strong accuracy, computer literacy and numeric skills are essential, along with effective verbal and written communication. Key skills and experience include:

 

  • Excellent administrative, time management, and organisational skills
  • Experience in a similar document preparation and processing role
  • Knowledge of New Zealand geography and region names
  • Technical proficiency, including familiarity with Microsoft Office packages
  • Previous experience in an operational and customer service-based environment
  • Proficiency in data entry keyboard skills
  • Competence with various technology and a willingness to learn new systems
