About the Role | Mō te Tūranga
The Team Supervisor will report to the New Zealand Technology Centre Manager and will be responsible for the day-to-day operations within our Christchurch office. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll be leading a team responsible for delivering high-quality digital document services.
You will oversee operational delivery, ensuring your team is set up for success and service levels and quality standards are met. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, building strong relationships while keeping operations running smoothly in a fast-paced, SLA-driven environment.
In this role, you will:
- Provide effective coaching, mentoring, and training for your team
- Ensure the correct processes and procedures are followed by the team
- Monitor SLA volumes and workflows to meet SLA timeframes
- Ensure jobs are completed in full, on time and error free
- Resolve production issues and escalating where needed in a timely and efficient manner
- Provide technical support when needed
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and clients to ensure smooth service delivery
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and team capability
- Ensure your site is compliant with Canon Group and client Health & Safety Standards

Key skills and experience include:
- 3–5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Previous experience in a supervisory or team leadership role
- Experience working in an operations or service delivery environment
- Ability to manage workflow and meet SLA-driven targets
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Confident using Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and systems
