About the Role

As a Business Development Manager for Victoria, you will be building market position and maximising revenue for Canon Business Services within the VIC territory.  The focus of this role is to introduce the full CBS solution range to both new and existing business.

Scope of the role includes;

  • Meeting agreed targets for revenue and profit generation
  • Cold call as appropriate within a defined territory to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities
  • Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organisation within the client oranisation
  • Research and build relationships customer businesses with appropriate key decision makers and decision influencers
  • Develop proposals that deliver solutions to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives
  • Respond to tenders and RFPs and customise all proposals generated for customer
  • Assist with bids and proposals for new business in the region

 

About you

As someone with Strong verbal and written communications skills, including presentation skills you are you have the gravitas and professionalism to work with ‘C’ Level clients. Your extensive experience will ideally include several years of exposure to the Business Process Outsourcing space giving you a strong understanding of its’ sales cycle, but more important is your desire to invest the time in building long term relationships with colleagues and clients alike and an appetite for continuous personal and professional growth.

Key skills/experience include;

  • Minimum of five years in a business to business sales role preferably in a technology related industry
  • Excellent understanding of the sales process, objectives, outcomes and techniques
  • Comfort communicating with senior and C-level executives
  • Ability to negotiate complex sales
  • Sound financial and deal construction knowledge
