About the Role

The Facilities department is responsible to proactively assist with the management of all Canon properties and facilities across Australia while ensuring consistency in brand representation and Employee Value Proposition delivery. The role is responsible for coordinating administration of branch facilities for VIC based locations - South Melbourne, Port Melbourne, and Melbourne. This position also manages a Team Member, who would be responsible for assisting you with operations.

This is a hybrid role based on our South Melbourne office, it requires presence of 4 days in office. The position reports to the Group Facilities Manager.

Main Duties

  • Coordinate administration of branch facilities for VIC based locations South Melbourne, Port Melbourne, and Melbourne including, but not limited to building maintenance, contractor relationship management, security, archiving, logistics activities (including receipting and delivery of goods), mail (internal / external), and logistics activities (including receipting and delivery of goods)
  • Be the main contact for Building security locally including issuing of access cards and keys and any respond to any security issues
  • Assist with the Coordination and set-up of training/event activities (e.g., room set-up and catering).
  • Take a lead role in all branch HSE issues
  • Manage the financial process on behalf of all sites nationally including the issuing of purchase orders, receipting and processing tax invoices
  • Provide financial assistance to the Property Project teams including the issuing of purchase orders, receipting and process tax invoices

About You

Ideally you have proven experience in a Facilities or building maintenance field. You possess excellent stakeholder skills and have the ability to deliver under tight deadlines. You have a keen eye for detail and exhibit strong problem solving skills.
