About the Role

With continued growth, we have a great opportunity for a Project Manager to work on number of IT Infrastructure projects within Australia. You will ensure the delivery of multiple concurrent small to medium sized projects following a standard project delivery framework.

As someone who enjoys variety and who puts the customer at the heart, you will have great project management tools at your disposal to assist you with ensuring that we meet agreed objectives within the boundaries of agreed time frames, budget, and resources. You will be working with a team of experienced engineers and third-party vendors where necessary to deliver leading edge technology solutions with a critical focus on outstanding customer service to our external customers.

Main Duties

  • Responsibility for the cost, schedule and technical performance of projects
  • Ownership for project outcomes to the customer
  • Managing project stakeholders through effective communications to set the right expectations
  • Managing customer projects following a defined project management methodology and approach
  • Effectively maintaining a resource and project implementation plan for each project assigned
  • Establishing milestones and manage adherence to project plans and schedules
  • Identifying and managing any project risks
  • Ensuring that project decisions, changes, exceptions, issues and risks are managed and recorded
  • Managing involvement of partners and/or 3rd party providers to help deliver projects when required
  • Managing scope changes and other project variations following project change control process

About You

You will bring excellent stakeholder engagement skills and a high degree of commercial acumen to the role. Your working knowledge of PMI / PRINCE2 methodology your experience of IT Infrastructure, Network or Cloud technologies will stand you in good stead. You will have a growth mindset and an appetite to work with new and emerging technology. Your experience of working in Professional Services in an MSP environment will be highly regarded as will your ability to manage multiple projects with competing demand simultaneously.
