 Working in a fast-paced team environment on a client site, the role of Customer Service Team Member focuses mainly on the efficient management of both physical and electronic records, including record sentencing, in accordance with set service standards and contractual requirements.

About the Role 

 

This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to work onsite at our ANZ Head Office in Docklands. The role operates Monday to Friday, with no weekend work, in a great working environment. You’ll gain valuable exposure to a large corporate environment while being part of a friendly and inclusive workplace. The office is also easily accessible via public transport.

 

To be successful in this role, you will display a positive "can-do" attitude and will be a highly reliable individual. You will be accurate with a keen eye for detail, and you will have a good level of computer literacy. Effective communication skills will also be required. 

 

Main Duties: 

 

  • Deliver exceptional customer service through phone, email, and face-to-face interactions. 

  • Manage and respond to customer enquiries, requests, and service-related issues in a timely manner. 

  • Identify customer needs and coordinate with the appropriate internal teams to ensure resolution. 

  • Escalate and follow up on client requests to maintain agreed service levels (SLAs). 

  • Maintain accurate client records, databases, tracking spreadsheets, and reports. 

  • Utilize Microsoft Teams and Office 365 applications to support communication and case management. 

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders. 

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and operational efficiencies. 

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, contractual obligations, and workplace safety requirements. 

  • Contribute positively to team performance and continuous improvement initiatives. 

  • Handle internal/external calls 

  • Dealing with customer enquiries  

  • Maintain the switchboard databases 

  • General administrative duties, including assisting in the mailroom operation (handling mail/parcel, courier bookings, etc), raising and reporting faults 

  • Light cleaning duties 

  • Maintain office equipment, office supplies and stationery 

  • Moderate to Heavy lifting involved 

 

 

Key Requirements 

 

  • Valid Driver’s License required 

  • Previous experience in a customer service, administration, call centre, client services, or support role highly regarded 

  • Strong customer service focus with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 

  • Professional and confident telephone manner. 

  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. 

  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting abilities. 

  • High attention to detail and accuracy. 

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build effective working relationships. 

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. 

  • Ability to perform under pressure and consistently meet service level targets and KPIs. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams. 

  • Reliable, professional, and adaptable with a strong work ethic.
