About the Role

 

As a Cyber Security Analyst within our 24/7 Security Operations Centre (SOC), you will be part of a high performing team dedicated to protecting our customers across diverse industries. You will work with leading SIEM, XDR, and vulnerability management technologies to detect, analyse and respond to emerging threats. This role places you at the heart of our mission of delivering exceptional holistic security services that help organisations minimise risk and stay resilient. Reporting to the Head – Information Security, this role offers flexibility and is open for placementin multiple locations.

 

Scope of the Role

 

  • Monitor, triage and analyse security alerts and incidents as part of a rotating 24/7 SOC roster
  • Escalate confirmed threats, support incident response activities and contribute to CSIRT engagements.
  • Deliver high quality service within defined SLAs while providing clear, effective communication to customers and internal teams.
  • Support vulnerability management, ticket handling, monthly reporting and ITIL aligned operational processes.
  • Assist with tabletop exercises, audit responses and provide cybersecurity advice to help customers strengthen their security posture.
  • Provide clear communication and cybersecurity guidance to customers and stakeholders.

About you

We are looking for a motivated cyber security professional who brings a solid technical foundation, a passion for defending organisations and the drive to grow within a fast‑paced SOC environment. You will thrive here if you combine analytical thinking with a proactive mindset, communicate confidently with customers and enjoy solving complex security challenges. While essential experience in security operations is key, we also value curiosity, initiative and the desire to continuously develop your skills in a supportive SOC team that is part of a wider Security team, that provides lifecycle security services, with future opportunities for growth. Key Skills and Experience include:

 

  • 2+ years’ experience in a security focused role including exposure to network security, incident response, threat intelligence, SIEM log analysis or vulnerability management.
  • Strong technical capability, with hands on experience using security tools, analysing logs, interpreting penetration test results and applying incident response frameworks such as NIST or SANS.
  • Demonstrated passion for cyber security, with a proactive approach to learning, problem solving and contributing to SOC operations.
  • Effective communicator and team contributor with the ability to build professional relationships and support customers with clarity and professionalism.
  • Positive, high-energy mindset, capable of working autonomously, managing multiple tasks and adapting to change while maintaining focus and quality
  • Relevant qualifications or certifications such as a degree or equivalent experience, SC‑900, SC‑200, and ideally other associate level certifications (ISC2, ISACA, CompTIA, GIAC, Blue Team), along with ITIL Foundation.
