About the Role

As part of the Professional Services practice, you will help drive the department purpose of delivering projects with a high level of quality, whilst being accountable for design, build, test and implementation of project outcomes to clients. The role will be reporting to the Technical Team Leader.

      Main Duties

  • Senior “go to person” for technical queries, escalating issues to the Technical Team Leader where required
  • Design and architect complex networks
  • Technical lead for larger projects
  • Manage scope and project variations
  • Ensure delivery milestones and are managed to quality, time and budget adhering to agreed project plans and schedules
  • Ensure compliance to all policies and procedures, quality systems and internal controls
  • Work closely with third party vendors & Effective stakeholder management
  • Provide technical advisory to customers, key stakeholders and teams within the business
  • Create technical documentation and transition projects to BAU support teams
  • Provide technical reviews and support for Presales and PMO teams
  • Adhere to required processes including call logging, change control, information security and compliance practices/standards
  • Validate project deliverables and ensure outcomes are aligned to Scope and Design
  • Maintain a high level of technical competency across the range of solution offerings


Key Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in network support
  • 3+ years focused on Implementation Projects for Networking, Wireless, firewalls and security
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to design, architect and implement complex networks
  • Demonstrated proficiency in switching and routing protocols
  • Knowledge and experience working with the below technologies:
  • Cisco and Juniper routing, switching
  • Wireless Technologies
  • SD-WAN & Security Technologies (IDAM, SIEM)
  • Firewalls: Juniper, Palo Alto
  • Citrix NetScaler
  • Cisco and Juniper VPN
  • Cloud services (Azure and AWS)
  • Disaster Recovery
