Are you a detail focused professional who loves analysing data and dealing with operational challenges!  We are seeking an enthusiastic and outcome focused professional to further strengthen our logistics team.


Roles & Responsibilities


  • Establishing and taking accountability for the key process of reconciling inventory balances between Canon’s Core ERP system and third party Warehouse Management System (WMS)
  • Applying analytical expertise and reporting services to key operations performance indicators in order to identify opportunities to improve service quality and drive down costs
  • Ensuring that the WMS reconciliation will comply with both internal and external audit requirements to protect Canon Australia from potential audit non-compliances
  • Ensuring that Canon Australia’s inventory management and controls satisfy Canon Inc’s own requirements and policies
  • Stock reconciliation processes and working cross functionally with Canon IT and other stakeholders including third party providers to resolve stock variances and perform approved stock adjustments
  • Investigating and regularly reporting back to Canon Senior Management (in particular, Internal Audit, Product Planning, Logistics, and Finance) on all significant stock variances
  • Supporting the Logistics and Transport managers in relation to key Logistics activities


About you


Essential Criteria:

  • Advanced analytical skills and ability to use Excel
  • Advanced data presentation skills
  • Excellent communication skills (assertive and confidence)
  • Experience in contributing to projects


Desired Criteria:


  • Experience in similar role
  • Tertiary qualifications in Logistics, Operations, Supply Chain or related disciplines
