About the Role

This is a unique opportunity for an impeccable Boardroom Coordinator to join our Team. The Boardroom Coordinator is responsible for delivering the 5 Star operational requirements of all contracted board room services performed at our Clients site.

Main Duties

  • Co-coordinating formal and informal in-house functions e.g dinners, lunches, breakfasts and cocktail parties and Fun Inc. functions including liaising with the staff, caterers, wait staff and any other external party as required. This will include room set ups, run schedules and coordination of wait staff requirements through preferred agency (upon confirmation of wait staff number and costs from department manager/host/EA.)
  • Supervise all aspects of the formal functions.
  • A hands-on approach to ensuring the seamless coordination and delivery of five-star services to our Corporate Client in their prestigious facilities on a daily basis
  • Prepare rooms for meetings and functions and all catering requirements
  • Assist the Management team in managing our clients complete in house meeting and function venue
  • Fine Dining Menu service
  • Ensuring best practice cleanliness and service standards are maintained in all areas of hospitality services to the client
  • Ensure all the cutlery and crockery are clean and well maintained.
  • Ensure that the kitchen facilities are kept in a clean, tidy and orderly fashion. This includes wiping down all stainless steel surfaces with stainless steel wipes to ensure there are no streak marks left on surfaces.

  • Assist in Managing stock levels and replacement requirements
  • Striving to make continuous improvements in all processes

Key Requirements

  • Previous proven experience in operating a CISCO switchboard.
  • Minimum Higher School Certificate
  • Hospitality Certificate or Diploma
  • Current RSA Certificate (to serve alcohol)
  • Barista Certificate (to operate the commercial coffee machines
  • Proficient/demonstrated ability in desktop applications including Word, Excel, Outlook and Lotus Notes (Basic level). Competent Internet skills.
  • Proven positive and pro-active approach at all times with an understanding of the importance of providing excellent customer services to all our external and internal stakeholders.

  • Previous exposure to Boardroom Audio Visual, Telepresence or Video Conferencing systems an advantage to assist with set up/troubleshooting if required.
