About the role

As a key member of the business-to-business channel marketing team, you’ll play an active role in driving sustainable and profitable growth of our Business Sales Division with a focus on delivering go to market campaigns.

Scope of the role includes:

  • Execute an annual calendar of programs that is aligned to the channel strategy, sales strategy and product roadmap. This will include campaign marketing activities, thought leadership content, sales rebate programs, telemarketing programs, sales enablement tools and content, rebate programs, product launches, case studies, tradeshows and events, digital and web content, etc. This includes adaptation where required to respond to market trends and campaign learnings.
  • Work with Product and Commercial teams to share sales and customer feedback to support the development and execution of pricing promotions that provide compelling options for customers and grow revenue, share and profitability for the channel.
  • In conjunction with Sales and the Commercial team, define objectives and set sales targets for campaigns and rebate programs, including revenue, units, and other strategic metrics.
  • Support the Channel, Commercial, Product and Sales teams to develop detailed channel plans which are aligned to the overarching Mid-Range Plan (MRP), Annual Operational Budget (AOB), Sales strategy and product roadmap, aimed at expanding existing business and driving new business opportunities within the channel.
  • Managing agreements (contracts) related to the channel programs, to ensure compliance and governance of key terms and Canon commitments.
  • Share post campaign learnings with Commercial, Sales and Product to drive continual improvement
  • Use market intelligence, sales data and customer research to identify market trends and make recommendations to optimise channel marketing programs and improve ROI

About You

As someone who enjoys hands-on campaign execution and working collaboratively with Sales Teams, you’ll bring B2B experience gained within a complex multi-segment business environment and have a proven track record of designing and delivering strategic, customer centric, channel programs. You have great attention to detail and you enjoy using data to drive campaign optimisation. You relish leveraging your excellent communication and influencing skills to get the best outcomes and you know how to inspire others in your project team. Perhaps you have worked in-house before, or you are looking to make your first move from an Agency role.

Experience with events, product launch campaigns and telemarketing will be highly regarded, as will your ability to act as a trusted advisor to a diverse range of business stakeholders. An understanding of the Print Service or Software Services market would be advantageous.
