About the Role

Due to continual growth in the business, we have an exciting new opportunity for a high calibre Contracts Manager to join our Contracts Management Team. In this varied role, you will proactively partner with internal and external stakeholders and navigate complex high value contracts to deliver sound commercial outcomes.

More specifically, this will involve:

  • Reviewing customer contracts and requested amendments to Canon contracts to reflect the dynamic nature of our sales opportunities
  • Providing commercially focussed and balanced risk assessments of exposure to Canon in contractual terms both in reviewing tender documents/contracts and in negotiating final agreements.
  • Working closely with peers, Senior Management, our in-house legal team and other key stakeholders to finalise contracts expeditiously
  • Undertaking continual improvement actions within the team and across the business to improve the customer contract experience with Canon.

About You

The ideal candidate is commercially astute and practical, with strong judgment and outstanding interpersonal skills. You excel at managing competing priorities and deadlines and have experience in managing sales contracts negotiation including reviewing and drafting contractual terms and conditions while collaborating with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

You are confident working autonomously with well-honed negotiation and influencing skills. Your exposure to drafting and negotiating complex supply, service and/or outsourcing agreements will be highly regarded, along with being a strong team player who thrives on delivering exceptional commercial outcomes. Having a tertiary qualification in a legal discipline and experience within a commercial sales environment would be an added advantage.

In return we offer a supportive team environment where collaboration and support from your leaders and peers are the norm. We’ll invest in your development and long-term future, and we can promise you variety and enough challenge to keep things interesting across the wide variety of customers we support.
