About the Role
We are seeking a responsible, experienced Corporate Receptionist to join our organisation at a client site in Sydney CBD. In this position you will be responsible for supervising the support staff, managing all front of house duties, and providing excellent customer service to our client’s internal and external visitors and guests. As the first face our client’s visitors and guest see when they enter their organisations, you must be friendly, informative, and welcoming to all, able to handle questions, complaints, reservations and reporting.
Scope of the role includes:
• Perform all opening and closing Reception duties
• Meet and greet clients, and maintain a record of clients and visitors
• Liaise with internal and external visitors that use the client areas
• Manage Switchboard calls and direct calls to appropriate parties
• Manage catering by responding to email requests, and liaise with catering supplier on catering orders
• Management room booking systems, check incoming emails and update room bookings
• Co-ordinate with waiter on orders and service delivery
• Order stationery and office supplies
• Rotate and store ordered deliveries
• Regular check through Resource Scheduler for any changes and to assess busy periods
• Accurately collect, sort and distribute incoming mail, parcels and deliveries
• Perform all outgoing mail duties
• Promptly arrange outgoing courier bookings
About you
You are an energetic collaborator, an influential communicator and technology savvy individual. You have a keen eye for details and always ensure your work is accurate. You have demonstrated exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills and able to think outside the box. In addition, you have a good level of computer literacy coupled with great written and verbal communication skill. You have an excellent administrative, time management and organisation skills and most importantly you have the desire to deliver and exceed our client expectations.
Key Skills and experience include;
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Receptionist or a related role preferred
• Proficient / demonstrated ability in desktop applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint
• Previous experience in maintaining an intranet site an advantage
