About the Role

This is a career defining role for an emerging marketing professional who wants to join an ambitious marketing team and be instrumental in growing the role of marketing in the business. As a key member of the marketing team, the role will focus on ensuring marketing programs, channels and tactics are well defined and managed to ensure high performance execution and strong outcomes. Experience will be gained through the interaction with external strategy, media and design agencies, as well as by working across different departments from sales, marketing and operations to define campaign objectives, ensure support and follow up. Reporting to the General Manager - Marketing, the Digital Marketing Manager will work alongside the existing marketing team, both in a supporting role though with their own projects and responsibilities to manage and deliver.

Main Duties

  • Paid media management – working with agencies to build campaign strategy, review performance and optimise.
  • Organic social – create and execute social calendar in line with marketing goals and content strategy.
  • Content creation & curation – be comfortable and competent in working with agencies and internal teams to develop content to support SEO, thought leadership, social, website… ranging from blogs, post copy, graphics/design work.
  • Website optimisation, SEO and management – work with marketing manager & agencies to optimise website performance, to grow traffic, engagement and conversions.
  • Event management – work with manager to develop strategy and execute across our calendar of events including industry, vendor and own.
  • Campaign management – manage execution of multichannel campaigns to meet marketing objectives.
  • Reporting and data analysis – build monthly and adhoc reporting, as well as reviewing data and determining insights for strategic plans.

About You

This is a highly varied role requiring a person with broad mix of marketing skills though with skew towards digital campaigns and channel management. The successful applicant should be curious, fast thinking and enjoy working across various aspects of marketing. Their existing digital channel experience will help grow capability in the team and they must have a hunger to develop new skills and knowledge of the technology sector. Key skills & experience include:

  • 5 years direct experience working in marketing function or agency environment – B2B preferred
  • Paid media platforms, campaign management & optimisation – Familiarity with using ad platforms across the media landscape including Google Ads, LinkedIn, Meta and working with agencies to manage and optimise media investment.
  • Experience and confidence in writing content e.g. social media, ad copy, email campaigns.
  • Experience with a CRM or email marketing system.
  • Email marketing experience – developing strategy and using tools
  • Tertiary study with marketing major and/or focus, with working knowledge of marketing concepts, frameworks and principles
  • Interest in technology and desire to work within technology industry
  • Website management with CMS e.g. Sitecore
  • Creative ability to make some design elements in Canva / Illustrator / Photoshop.
  • Data analysis & Managing google analytics
