About the Role
You will play a key role in delivering responsive, high-quality IT support across both remote and customer environments. Combining Service Desk operations with hands-on onsite support, this position is responsible for managing incidents, service requests, device deployments and technology rollouts to ensure a seamless end-user experience. Working across modern workplace technologies, the role provides Level 1 and Level 2 technical support, resolves technical issues and maintains reliable IT services for customers. As a key point of contact, you will contribute to customer satisfaction by delivering professional, customer-centric support and helping customers maximise the value of their technology investments. The role will operate from our Macquarie Park office and require visiting customer sites in Kingsgrove, Pyrmont.
Scope of the Role
- Delivering Level 1 and Level 2 technical support remotely and onsite
- Troubleshooting Microsoft 365, Windows 11, Exchange Online, Intune and endpoint device issues
- Managing incidents and service requests through to resolution within agreed SLAs
- Supporting device lifecycle activities including provisioning, deployment, upgrades and asset management
- Assisting with technology rollouts, customer projects and major incident support
- Developing and maintaining knowledge articles and support documentation
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement, automation and self-service solutions
- Building trusted relationships with end users and stakeholders through exceptional customer service
About you
This role requires a blend of strong customer service capability and solid technical foundations, with the confidence to operate in a fast‑paced managed services environment. Success in this position requires a genuine customer‑first mindset, a broad technical skill set and the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. You will need to be organised, detail oriented and proactive in your approach to problem solving. Possessing hands on experience with Intune for cross-platform device is highly essential. Key Skills and Experience include:
- Experience providing Level 1 and Level 2 IT support within a corporate or Managed Services environment
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration and end-user support
- Experience with Microsoft Intune endpoint management, device enrolment and policy administration
- Windows 11 deployment, configuration, troubleshooting and support experience
- Understanding of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure Active Directory) and identity management principles
- Experience supporting desktop, laptop, mobile and peripheral devices
- Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar IT service management platforms
- Knowledge of endpoint security, compliance and device management best practices
- Strong communication, customer service and stakeholder engagement skills
- Understanding of networking fundamentals and connectivity troubleshooting
- ITIL Foundation, Microsoft certifications or Managed Services experience will be highly regarded
- Ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Government NV1 Security Clearance is advantageous
