About the Role
As an Inventory Planner, you will play a critical role in ensuring the right products are available at the right time across Oceania. Sitting within our Product Planning team, you will balance supply, demand, and inventory optimisation to support business performance and customer satisfaction. You will work cross functionally with Sales, Supply Chain, Customer Operations, and global stakeholders, using data-driven insights to manage inventory, forecast demand and minimise excess and obsolete stock. This is a high-impact role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced, analytical environment and enjoys influencing outcomes through strong stakeholder collaboration.
Scope of the Role
- Monitoring and maintaining optimal stock levels across Oceania to support sales and service outcomes
- Developing demand forecasts based on sales history, stock position, and inventory targets
- Managing procurement activities and placing orders in line with planning processes
- Proactively managing backorders and communicating supply timelines to stakeholders
- Analysing and reducing slow-moving and aged inventory, including write-off recommendations
- Maintaining accurate product and inventory data within ERP systems
- Delivering reporting and insights to support business decisions and performance improvement
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives across inventory planning processes
About you
You are detail oriented and thrive on combining strong analytical capability with excellent stakeholder management. You are comfortable operating independently and enjoy working with data to drive decisions and are confident navigating ambiguity in a dynamic environment.
