About the Role
We have an exciting parental leave cover opportunity for an experienced Leadership & Learning Specialist to join our Learning & Organisational Development team.
This role is primarily focused on the facilitation, coordination and ongoing delivery of Canon Oceania’s established leadership development programs. You’ll work closely with leaders and HR Business Partners to ensure programs are delivered seamlessly, consistently and to a high standard.
Partnering across the business, you’ll support learning initiatives for a workforce of approximately 2,500 employees across Australia, New Zealand and the Philippines. While the role sits within the L&OD function, the focus is firmly on learning delivery and program management, with some exposure to broader Organisational Development initiatives.
This is a great opportunity for a self‑starter who enjoys taking ownership, maintaining momentum and building strong stakeholder relationships in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Coordinate the end‑to‑end delivery of learning initiatives, ensuring smooth communication, execution and strong participant experience
- Facilitate leadership and capability development programs with confidence and credibility
- Maintain and manage the existing leadership development framework and learning calendar
- Partner with HR Business Partners to support leaders and employees with learning and development needs
- Build strong relationships across diverse stakeholder groups and adapt communication style to different audiences
- Manage multiple learning projects concurrently, with strong attention to detail and follow‑through
- Liaise with external learning providers and facilitators as required
About You
You’re an experienced learning professional who brings strong facilitation capability and a practical, organised approach to program delivery.
You are:
- A confident and engaging facilitator, comfortable working with leaders at all levels
- Highly organised, with excellent project management skills and attention to detail
- A proactive self‑starter who can step in, take ownership and keep established programs running effectively
- Skilled at quickly understanding stakeholder needs and building trusted relationships
- Comfortable constructively challenging thinking while maintaining strong working relationships
