About the role

 

As Digital Experience Manager you will liaise with a wide variety of business stakeholders and the UX, creative and development team to ensure the delivered integration meet customer needs, business requirements and project success metrics.

As a hands on leader you will motivate and work with your agile delivery teams to prioritize product backlog items and ensure the development of user stories. You will own the product roadmap on behalf of business stakeholders and you will guide planning for sprints in conjunction with the core team.

You will regularly liaise with technical developers to understand technical implications, prioritising development and make decisions about technical direction and you will seek new innovative ideas and technology to drive success.

 

Scope of the role includes:

 

  • Driving the execution of digital projects and campaigns on time, on budget with outstanding quality.
  • Resource planning and managing budgets
  • Working with the legal team to ensure the product is complaint
  • Managing the product roadmap and communicating it to the stakeholders
  • Contingency planning and risk analysis
  • Forecasting usage of product and assisting in business case creation
  • Prioritisation of features and maintaining backlog
  • Conveying vision and goals at the beginning of each sprint
  • Gathering consumer usage insights/feedback to feed into planning and product evolution
  • Providing input and support during the development of technical briefing documentation to uphold digital standards.
  • Working closely with the UX manager to ensure best practice is executed on our platforms, existing and new
  • Ensuring all digital executions can be measured against KPIs using Canon’s core reporting and analysis tools.
  • Acting as an integral member of a testing team to ensure new projects are thoroughly tested prior to going live
  • Ensuring relevant analytics tracking/tagging in place and provide regular reporting
  • Leading the delivery and integration of digital content to support Canon’s digital experience.
  • Evolving Canon’s website strategy to ensure all divisions are well represented and delivers to the business strategy including the supporting of our shift to services including the integration of new business division positioning
  • Ensuring content is optimised working collaboratively with the SEO manager, product and consumer marketing teams

 

About you

 

As a seasoned marketing professional, you’ll bring extensive hands on experience of driving the execution of digital projects and campaigns gained within a multi-segment business environment. You have a proven track record in leading highly collaborative teams and you know how to leveraging your excellent communication and influencing skills to build strong relationships with, business stakeholders, creatives and technical development teams. You have strong problem solving and analytical skills and a keen eye for detail along with an ability to think strategically and articulate a clear vision.
