About the Role
The Manager - Experiential & Growth leads the strategic design and execution of Canon’s experiential, sponsorship, and PR programs, turning brand strategy into commercially impactful experiences that drive growth, cultural relevance, and long-term audience engagement. Based in Macquarie Park with flexible hybrid work options, the position reports to the Senior Manager - Brand and Growth and oversees a team of specialists to deliver high impact, purpose led brand experiences.
Scope of the Role

- Own and evolve Canon’s experiential, sponsorship, and PR strategy, building annual roadmaps and integrated plans that drive measurable brand growth, audience engagement, and commercial impact
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team (Experiential Manager and PR Manager), setting clear objectives, accountability frameworks, and performance standards. Partner with the Senior Manager, Brand & Growth to shape integrated sponsorship, media, and activation strategies that build lifetime value and strengthen community and brand equity
- Oversee governance, risk management, and operational excellence across all events and PR activity, ensuring compliance with brand, safety, privacy, and reputational standards
- Evaluate performance and impact across sponsorships, events, and earned media, embedding insights, efficiency, and continuous improvement into future planning
About you
You are a commercially minded, strategic marketing leader with deep experience in experiential and sponsorship environments. You thrive in complex, fast-moving settings and know how to translate brand strategy into measurable impact. Key Skills and Experience include:

- Minimum 8+ years’ experience in brand, experiential, sponsorship, or integrated marketing environments. Proven experience leading large-scale events and sponsorship activations from strategy through execution
- Demonstrated experience managing and developing teams, setting direction, and driving performance accountability
- Strong commercial and project‑management capability, including budget ownership
- Excellent stakeholder‑management and relationship‑building skills
- Strong understanding of integrated brand storytelling across physical and digital touchpoints
- Experience in integrated media planning and performance measurement advantageous
