About the Role

As part of Professional Services team, the role requires maintaining a core focus around the design & delivery of Network as well as Infrastructure Solutions. the critical focus is to deliver outstanding service to customers by providing dedicated, focused and specialist levels of technical service in order to meet agreed objectives and delivery timelines. The role reports to the Technical Team Leader.

Main Duties

  • Design complex networks
  • Manage scope and project variations
  • Ensure delivery milestones and are managed to quality, time and budget adhering to agreed project plans and schedules
  • Ensure compliance to all policies and procedures, quality systems and internal controls
  • Work closely with third party vendors & Effective stakeholder management
  • Create technical documentation and transition projects to BAU support teams
  • Provide technical advisory to customers, key stakeholders and teams within the business
  • Provide technical reviews and support for Presales and PMO teams
  • Adhere to required processes including call logging, change control, information security and compliance practices/standards
  • Validate project deliverables and ensure outcomes are aligned to Scope and Design
  • Maintain a high level of technical competency across the range of CBS solution offerings

About You

You will possess experience and understanding of networking, wireless, security, cloud services, end user compute, storage, backup and virtualization technologies. Your experience of working in Professional Services in an MSP environment will be highly regarded as will your ability to manage multiple projects with competing demand simultaneously.

  • 5+ years experience in network support
  • 3+ years working for an MSP focused on Implementation Projects for Networking, Wireless, firewalls and security
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to design and implement complex networks
  • Demonstrated proficiency in switching and routing protocols
  • Knowledge and experience working with the below technologies:
    • Cisco and Juniper routing, switching
    • Wireless Technologies
    • Cisco ASA
    • Juniper firewalls & Internet proxies
    • Cisco and Juniper VPN
    • Cloud services (Azure and AWS)
    • DRMFA technologies
