About the Role


The Pre-Sales Solutions Architect ensures the success of our clients by developing and designing solutions that are innovative and fit for purpose. You will be the trusted ‘technology advisor’ for our existing and new customers, delivering strategic reviews and providing strategic guidance.


Scope of the Role:


  • Supporting the National Sales team with pre-sales activities such as the identification of business opportunities ascertained from customer enquiries and/or from customer visits arranged by, and with, the Sales Team
  • Contributing to RFQ, RFI, RFT, RFP and other quotation processes and documentation
  • Identifying customer requirements and translate these into technical solutions
  • Working closely with Sales to develop a winning sales strategy and approach
  • Contributing to the further improvement of processes, procedures, documents and templates associated with our presales and architecture practice
  • Technical ownership and formal sign-off of overall solution
  • Conducting interviews or technically based infrastructure assessments as well as detailed analysis of audit outputs and providing high quality documented findings and recommendation reports


About you


As someone with the confidence and professionalism to influence C suite clients, you know how to translate business challenges into meaningful technology solutions and you are able to quickly understand your clients’ business and technical requirements as well as their IT environment. You enjoy leveraging vendor relationship to assist with solution formulation and you bring a full understanding of end-to-end IT solution sales and the project delivery lifecycle.


Strong Pre-sales and Solution Architecture expertise and experience in the following technologies is essential:

  • Private, Public & Hybrid Cloud Services
  • Microsoft Azure Services (IaaS, PaaS, Azure AD, etc)
  • Microsoft 365 Services (Azure AD, MFA, SharePoint, Exchange Online, OneDrive, Teams, etc)
  • Modern Workplace technologies (SOE, InTune, AutoPilot, MDM etc)
  • Transformation and consulting services (datacentre transformation, Cloud Migrations, etc.)


Ideally you will have experience in one or more of the following:


  • Cloud based security services (Mimecast, Zscaler, etc)
  • Application and desktop virtualisation technologies (Citrix, RDS, Azure WVD etc)
  • Windows Server technologies (Operating System, Exchange, SQL, etc)
  • Networking Technologies
