About the Role
The Product Marketing team brings Canon’s products and services to market with a clear focus on understanding customer needs and delivering meaningful value. By partnering closely with our vendors, the team ensures our solutions create measurable outcomes for both our customers and our business partners.
In this role, you will lead the development and execution of product strategy for Consumer Inkjet and selected categories within Canon’s consumer portfolio across ANZ region. Key areas include establishing strong product positioning and pricing, clearly communicating product benefits, as well as effectively managing P&Ls and product lifecycles to drive sustainable growth. The position offers flexible work from home options. It is based in Macquarie Park and reports to the Manager – Consumer Product Marketing.
Scope of the Role
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Consumer Inkjet and Compact Photo Printer portfolios assigned consumer product categories
- Lead product knowledge and expertise for assigned product categories
- Partner with the Senior Manager – Product Marketing and the Category Management team to manage communications with Canon Inc. for the ANZ region
- Lead the planning and execution of product marketing activities across assigned categories
- Manage pricing across ANZ region, including vendor cost negotiations, price structure development and stakeholder communication
- Prepare and deliver presentations for internal meetings, planning sessions, customer and media NDA sessions and trade events
- Collaborate with B2B sales and marketing teams to identify new opportunities for Canon inkjet products in non‑traditional channels
About you
We are looking for someone with proven product management experience within complex categories and/or multi‑segment channel environments. They possess hands-on experience delivering product launches and managing marketing campaign projects. They bring a results driven mindset with a strong commitment to achieving commercial outcomes. Someone with solid business acumen supported by strong analytical, creative and problem-solving skills. It is highly preferred if they hold product management experience within consumer electronics channels and/or have a background working in a similar industry.Hands‑on experience delivering product launches and ‑driven mindset with a strong commitment to achieving commercial outcomes‑solving skills.
