About the Role

 

As a Purchasing & Operations Coordinator within our Product Planning team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the right products are available at the right time across Oceania. This role combines procurement, demand forecasting and inventory optimisation to support business performance and customer outcomes. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and global suppliers to manage stock levels, minimise supply disruptions and continuously improve inventory processes.

 

Scope of the Role

 

  • Monitoring and maintaining optimal inventory levels across assigned product portfolios
  • Forecasting demand and raising purchase orders based on sales trends and stock targets
  • Managing product data integrity within ERP systems
  • Minimising backorders and providing accurate supply timelines to stakeholders
  • Producing inventory and performance reports to support business decisions
  • Building strong relationships with internal teams and external suppliers
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives across procurement and inventory processes

 

About you

 

You are a detail-oriented and commercially minded professional who thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven environment. You bring a strong sense of accountability and enjoy working collaboratively to solve problems and improve outcomes. You are comfortable analysing data, making recommendations, and balancing competing priorities to ensure business continuity and operational efficiency. Key Skills and Experience include:

 

  • Experience in inventory management, purchasing, or supply planning
  • Strong analytical capability with the ability to interpret data and inform decisions
  • Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with ERP systems
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Exposure to tools such as Microsoft D365, Power BI, or Salesforce (desirable)
