About the Role

Due to continued growth and success we are now looking for a Cyber Security Architect to join our team. The Cyber Security Architect works closely with sales, presales and technical teams to provide advice and solutions around cyber security.

Primary responsibilities include;

  • Develop Security proposals, SOW’s and SEQ’s as required
  • Provide Security presales activities for the Sales and Presales team e.g. meetings, teams calls
  • Develop security frameworks and artefacts for our clients
  • Review client solutions through a lens of risk, assisting the client to achieve their business objectives
  • Scope and design the overarching security solution and infrastructure designs in conjunction with Subject Matter Experts, Project Managers and Solution and Infrastructure Architects
  • Act as a Security vCISO for our clients
  • Effectively educate potential new customers on the security solutions we offer
  • Provide security presales input / reviews to proposals prepared by the presales / sales team
  • Demonstrates a sound understanding of vendor technologies and roadmaps, and remains current with key IT industry themes and emerging trends
  • Demonstrates ability to build and maintain collaborative and trustful relationships with a variety of stakeholders
  • Adherence to the Canon Oceania ISMS Governance Framework


About you

As someone with the confidences and professionalism to influence C suite clients, you know how to translate business challenges into meaningful technology solutions and you are able to quickly understand your clients’ business and technical requirements as well as their IT environment. You enjoy leveraging vendor relationship to assist with solution formulation and you bring a full understanding of end-to-end IT solution sales and the project delivery lifecycle.

Strong Pre-sales and Solution Architecture expertise and experience is essential:

Key Skills include;

  • Experience in information security management and related functions such as IT Risk Management
  • Ability to align information security policies with business requirements
  • Project management skills and an ability to translate business requirements into technical IT security deliverables
  • Experience in security related to other workplace technologies such as desktop/laptop systems and applications, cloud-based productivity technologies & PaaS services (e.g. Microsoft 365, Microsoft Azure services), virtual desktop systems, and mobility platforms
  • Understanding of ISO 27001/27002, ITIL, and COBIT frameworks
  • Exceptional consulting skills to drive the right outcomes with our clients
