About the Role

As part of the Professional Services team, the role requires delivering projects with a high level of quality alongside being responsible for design, build, test and implementation of project outcomes. It involves designing & architecting infrastructure projects and delivering outstanding service to customers. The role is open for multiple locations & reports to the Technical Team Leader.

Main Duties

  • Senior “go to person” for technical queries, escalating issues to the Technical Team Leader where required
  • Design and architect Infrastructure projects
  • Technical lead for larger projects & manage scope and project variations
  • Ensure delivery milestones and are managed to quality, time and budget adhering to agreed project plans and schedules
  • Ensure compliance to all policies and procedures, quality systems and internal controls
  • Provide technical advisory to customers, key stakeholders and teams within the business
  • Create technical documentation and transition projects to BAU support teams
  • Provide technical reviews and support for Presales and PMO teams
  • Adhere to required processes including call logging, change control, information security and compliance practices/standards
  • Validate project deliverables and ensure outcomes are aligned to Scope and Design

 

About You

You would have experience working with an MSP on large infrastructure projects and are comfortable working onsite when required. Key Skills & Experience include –

  • 5+ years focused on Implementation Projects for Infrastructure in an MSP environment
  • Experience and understanding of datacenter technologies, cloud services, database, storage, backup and virtualization technologies
  • Ability to manage multiple projects for different customers simultaneously
  • Ability to design, architect and implement complex infrastructure projects
  • Working onsite at customer locations
  • Knowledge and experience working with the below technologies:
    • Microsoft Azure, VMware
    • Windows Server and Client
    • Citrix, Commvault
    • DR\BCP, Hybrid Cloud
    • ITIL procedures, networking practices
