Essential duties

  • Manage an arrears portfolio of around $3 million in overdue accounts.
  • Handle collections for accounts overdue by 30 to 120+ days.
  • Send overdue reminders and demand letters to customers.
  • Handle high volumes of customer calls (internal and external).
  • Work with internal teams to resolve account disputes.
  • Prepare and process refunds.
  • Perform payment reconciliations
  • Set up repayment plans for clients unable to pay in full.
  • Monitor overdue accounts and escalate disputes as needed.
  • Report to management on account status.
  • Process unallocated payments identified by the Banking team.
  • Process credit card payments.
  • Ensure timely responses to both internal and external customers.

 

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years’ experience in accounts receivable or a banking environment
  • Strong understanding of systems and processes
  • Excellent communication skills
  • High attention to detail with a strong work ethic
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Salesforce is beneficial but not essential
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong time management and prioritisation abilities
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
