The position is responsible for the effective management of candidates to support the recruitment requirements and strategies of Canon nationally mainly through Phone Screenings and assessment of potential candidates.

Essential duties

Accountable to the P&C Supervisor for the execution of duties which include the following:

Recruitment & Selection

  • Be aware and updated on all Canon manpower requirements and liaise with hiring managers on the specifications of the roles.
  • Act as the central contact for all potential candidates for Canon vacancies.
  • Regular monitoring of helpdesk tickets, HR connect requisition ensuring that all are reviewed and auctioned in a timely manner.
  • Administer and manages the cbsc recruitment inbox ensuring all enquiries are responded in a prompt manner.
  • Conduct Resume and Phone Screening of candidates for short listing via the Candidate Database
  • Recommend qualified candidates for different roles based on the requirements of the role.
  • Process candidate’s applications including interviews and reference check request from hiring managers.
  • Develop and maintain a strong pool of candidates for upcoming vacancies within Canon.
  • Update candidates thru phone calls on the status of their application with Canon.
  • Maintain and update CBSC Recruitment Database
  • Conduct assessment / administer skill test to candidates as required by the role.
  • Liaise with external recruitment agency as needed.
  • Reinforce Canon recruitment policy and procedures with Canon Managers as related to Company vision and values and relevant legislation
  • Highlight areas of continuous improvement to both recruitment/HR Connect processes and site issues as they arise.
  • Produce monthly and ad hoc reports as required
  • Filing and general administrative tasks
  • Assist the HR Supervisor & HR Team as reasonably required


Other HR Related tasks

  • Assist in setting up employees access in HRIS upon employment
  • Preparation and release of company ID
  • And other adhoc task

  • Successful recruitment strategies
  • Ability to provide good quality of candidates for different roles.
  • Efficient completion of hr tasks
  • Internal and External Customer satisfaction measured through formal and informal feedback from Managers of Canon.
  • Contribution to overall HR efficiencies through continuous improvement initiative


Qualifications & Experience

  • Tertiary qualifications in HR or related discipline
  • 3-5 years related work experience especially in the BPO industry
  • Knowledge and exposure to a range of HR issues and practices especially in recruitment preferred (end to end process)

  • Knowledge of recruitment practices and selection techniques (end to end process)
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and customer satisfaction focus.
  • Sound computer literacy
