About the role


We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Talent Acquisition & Resourcing Officer to join our dynamic recruitment and HR team. You will work closely with the Manager – Talent Acquisition, and Talent Acquisition Specialists, as well as partner with HR Consultants/Business Partners, and HR Advisory teams. You will play a crucial role in supporting the full recruitment process, ensuring smooth and efficient hiring practices in alignment with our Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

 

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Recruitment Process

  • Prepare and post job advertisements across relevant platforms
  • Shortlist candidates and conduct initial phone screenings
  • Schedule video interviews via Spark Hire (one-way video platform)
  • Manage candidate communications and ensure a positive candidate experience
  • Perform recruitment administration using SAP SuccessFactors (HRConnect)
  • Coordinate psychometric testing
  • Maintain and update recruitment tracking tools and provide reports as required

Proactively Sourcing Talent

  • Source candidates for specific roles and proactively build talent pools using platforms such as LinkedIn, Seek and our in-house tool SAP Success Factors (HRConnect)
  • Leverage the in-house tool (HRConnect) to manage and maintain a pipeline of potential candidates
  • Utilise employee referrals and other creative sourcing strategies

Compliance

  • Ensure the adherence to all legal minimums and best practice as required of Canon recruitment processes and policies
  • Manage the background checking process including reference checking and pre-employment checks and ensure ongoing monitoring of completed checks and flagging any disclosable outcomes for further action

 

About you
 

Ideally you have gained 1-3+ years of experience in a similar HR environment in a recruitment co-ordinator or administrator role. It’s a bonus if you have exposure to end-to-end recruitment in a corporate in-house or RPO role, along with supporting Australia and/or New Zealand businesses but this is not essential.

Other key attributes include:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Assertive, self-motivated, and enthusiastic
  • Strong critical thinking and proactive problem-solving abilities
  • Familiarity with Diversity and Inclusion recruiting best practices
  • Proficiency in tools such as Seek and LinkedIn Recruiter
  • Experience with recruitment CRMs including SAP SuccessFactors (would be a bonus)
  • Experience with one-way video interviewing platforms like Spark Hire
  • Comfortable working with data, including research and analysis and presenting insights to stakeholders
  • Ability to work within Australia/New Zealand holiday schedules
  • Willingness to work on AU time zone (5 AM - 2 PM or 6 AM - 3 PM).
  • Able to work onsite in McKinley Hill, Taguig
