The Senior Financial Accountant – Commercial is responsible for supporting the organization through accurate financial reporting, pricing analysis, revenue assurance, and performance insights. This role acts as a business partner to Account Managers (local and onshore) and Operations teams, ensuring financial integrity while driving profitability and commercial effectiveness.


Essential duties

  • Review monthly revenue report.

  • Analyze revenue and profitability by customer and cost centre.

  • Provide variance analysis vs. budget of revenue.

  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of commercial financial data.

  • Prepare and support pricing model, and commercial proposals.

  • Collaborate with Account Managers to provide commercial finance insights and recommendations.

  • Assist in the budgeting/forecasting process.

  • Support internal and external audit requirements.

  • Identify opportunities to streamline reporting, enhance data quality, and automate recurring tasks.

  • Guide the Financial Accountant and Financial Analyst on their deliverables especially on the revenue, budget, pricing and commercial area of Finance.

 

Qualifications/Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.

  • Professional certification is desirable but not required (CPA, CMA, etc.)

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in accounting or commercial finance roles

  • Experience in revenue accounting, pricing analysis, and commercial finance

  • Experience in BPO industry


Skill Sets

  • Strong business partnering and communication skills.

  • Keen to details with analytical problem-solving capability.

  • Intermediate Excel skills

  • Proactive and self-driven, with the ability to work independently when needed
