About the Role

 

Responsibilities include Sourcing and Interviewing of potential hires

 

Accountable to the Talent Acquisition Assistant Manager for the execution of duties which include the following: 

 

  • Use social media networks and job portals to look for and connect with potential candidates 

  • Review online portfolios and resumes to pre-screen candidates 

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify each position’s requirements 

  • Contact past applicants for new job opportunities 

  • Develop a network of potential candidates and industry professionals 

  • Recommend qualified candidates for different roles based on the requirements of the role. 

  • Process candidate’s applications including interviews and reference check request from hiring managers. 

  • Develop and maintain a strong pool of candidates for upcoming vacancies within Canon. 

  • Update candidates thru phone calls on the status of their application with Canon. 

  • Maintain and update CBSC Recruitment Database  

  • Conduct assessment / testing to candidates as required by the role. 

  • Conduct HR in-depth interviews 

 

Performance Measures 

 

  • SLA - Time to Fill 

  • Successful recruitment strategies 

  • Ability to provide good quality of candidates for different roles. 

  • Efficient completion of tasks 

  • Contribution to overall HR efficiencies through continuous improvement initiative 

 

Qualifications

 

Education and Experience 

 

  • Bachelor's degree 

  • At least 1 year of sourcing / end-to-end recruitment experience  

  • Excellent oral English communication skills 

  • Proficient with the MS Office applications 

  • Knowledge in multiple sourcing techniques and strategies 

  • Sales and customer service oriented 

  • Keen attention to detail 

 

Skill Sets 

 

  • Knowledge of recruitment practices and selection techniques (end to end process) 

  • Ability to complete functional tasks and set priorities. 

  • Ability to respond with a sense of urgency. 

  • Ability to influence and advise managers when required. 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, together with representational and liaison skills. 

  • Maintain the security of confidential information and documents. 

  • Demonstrate leadership through Canon knowledge and expertise. 

  • Demonstrate the ability to deliver and exceed expectations.
