About the Role

 

Based on our client’s corporate premises in the heart of Wellington, the Admin and Facilities Coordinator is an entry level position, providing day-to-day support to the Facilities Manager. The role will also require liaising with contractors to complete maintenance tasks and managing issues as they arise, along with ensuring compliance is met with Health and Safety requirements.

 

Scope of the role includes:

 

  • Creating a welcoming, professional, and friendly atmosphere
  • Printing and binding documents
  • Building checks
  • Meeting room resets
  • Mail and courier processing
  • Supporting the Facilities Manager
  • A variety of administrative tasks
  • Liaising with internal customers and external suppliers
  • Ensure your site is compliant with Canon and our Clients’ Health & Safety Standards

 

 

About you

 

We are seeking a reliable individual with experience in a corporate setting ideally. This role primarily involves independent work, so we need someone who thrives in an autonomous environment and is self-motivated. You take pride in delivering outstanding customer service and possess the following qualities:

 

  • Very high standard of personal presentation
  • Experience with printing and binding would be highly regarded
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong multitasking and organisational skills
  • Reliable and the ability to work autonomously
  • Strong administration skills, with focus on taking ownership
  • Proactive problem solver
  • Physically fit
  • Working knowledge using MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
