We have an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to join our Canon team that supports our premier client One New Zealand.  You will be based at One New Zealand’s amazing corporate offices in Wellington CBD where you’ll enjoy the perks of collaborating with a dynamic and fun team and working in modern offices.

 

This entry-level role will help kick-start a rewarding career in facilities management, providing training in building systems such as BMS. Working as part of our Canon team, you'll be immersed in an environment that values development and recognition. You’ll be:

 

  • Managing small to medium projects, including obtaining and accepting quotes, liaising with contractors, and collaborating with the One NZ Facilities team
  • Provide outstanding customer service to key internal and external stakeholders
  • Conduct monthly compliance inspections, ensuring visual assessments of signage, fire hose reels, safety features, etc.
  • Coordinate and administer third-party contractors, building effective relationships
  • Maintain an up-to-date list of contractors' contact details
  • Liaise with the National Security Manager to uphold building security
  • Ensure site compliance with Canon and One NZ Health & Safety Standards
  • Conduct daily building inspections
  • Manage stock levels of office consumables, including stationery, kitchen supplies, first aid kits, etc.
  • Address any other ad hoc requests from the One NZ Facilities Management Team
  • Some moderate to heavy lifting may be involved

 

 

About You | Mōu

  • 1+ years' experience in a similar role
  • Full NZ Driver's License is preferred
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Understanding risk assessment and risk management is preferred
  • Knowledge of building compliance
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Pro-active team player with a high standard of personal presentation
  • Strong administration skills, with a focus on job ownership
  • Knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Excellent attention to detail and security awareness
